Bad Ass Broken Arm

I had not planned to blog anymore today. I was tired and excited after a perfect day and I just wanted to get back to Brody's and take it easy and wrap my mind around all that had happened. But something else happened that made me need to blog to get this out of my system.
We decided to stop at Carl Jr and grab a cheeseburger before going home. This was just around the corner from the apartment. I had just sat down when I noticed a table full of thugs and all of them staring at me. These two girls were pointing and giggling. It was really getting to me, but I tried to ignore it.Someone in the group recognized Brody from his commercials and started making fun of him. Then this one creep said something like
“If I have to look at that face much longer I'm gonna puke up my hamburger,” That was it! I lost it! I grabbed the guy  by the collar, and with one smooth motion just snapped his arm in two.  He started howling with pain and the whole group of them beat feet outta there like professional bank robbers!  I sat back down and casually finished my food before we took off. I was a little nervous that someone might call the police, but I did not want to show it, so I just remained calm on the outside. Besides, I am pretty sure everyone in there was silently cheering me on.
Here is the thing...I have got to get used to people acting like that. Back home it wasn't so bad. Everyone knows me there. They know my folks. Sure they stared but they did it discretely and never made fun of me. It is going to be different here.  Brody tried to prepare me for this but it is going to take a while for me to adjust. He told me if I am going to make it out here I will have to grow a thick skin. He pointed out that in order to succeed in Hollywood you have to have something others don't have...well I have that in spades.
