Nightmares

Sometimes I have this nightmare where I am in this maze. I am going round and round and always end up where I started. I am anxious and scared because I know my life and my future depend on my finding my way out of there. Everything  is glowing and without shape. I start to run looking for a way out. Then I am being chased by snakes and demons when suddenly I am in a cube with no way out. A door appears in one wall. The door leads to the inside of a house. A figure pulls back the curtains and peers at me through red eyes. He is laughing at me and holds the door closed. The demons are getting closer to me and I am horrified. I begin to frantically pound on the door but the man inside will not let me in. Then just before the predators reach me he opens the door and turns a fire hose on me. The water is boiling hot and I wake up in a panic with my heart pounding in my chest. I am so relieved to finally be awake and am afraid to go back to sleep.
