Welcome to LA!

The trip from Arkansas to LA was the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. Brody is a really great guy. Aside from all the sites he showed me, he told me so many great stories about his life. I know we will be tight from now on. I know more about him now than I do my own family. Those days on the road almost made me forget about my face and all my problems. I was on a "high" instead of feeling my usual depression.

I will bunk in with Brody for a few days, then I will try to look up my grandmother. Beyond that I have not made any plans. Brody wants to take me to meet his agent on Monday. I guess I will go if it will make him happy, but I do not see much point in it.

Brody's apartment is in North Hollywood, not really the swanky part of town. Not exactly what I pictured for an actor with steady work.  But from what he tells me, he worries about when and if the next job will come along. So he keeps it simple and keeps his money in the bank.
